Jetstar Airways Korea Flight- Airfare Smoke and Mirrors
When it comes to marketing services, the airline industry are masters of slight of hand, smoke and mirrors and clickbait.
Here’s a recent example of a promotion for $300 airfare to Soul Korea.
It started with an email dropping into my inbox, which piqued my interest, but also sounded the usual warning bells for my brain.

Go to the Jetstar website and select a flgith. All I’m seeing is $330.

Selected my travel dates. Notice the price of flights on the day

Watch how the prices increase as I selected the dates.

This is a fine example of ‘get em interested’ and jack up the prices. It’s also fodder for the AI algorithm sitting behind the price engine. Let’s see if I am retargeted with ads when I’m next on a Google ads partner site, or Facebook Insta.
